As the audio landscape evolves, Roksan is integrating modern technologies to cater to a new generation of listeners who value both high-quality sound and seamless connectivity.

Roksan is a British manufacturer of high-end audio products founded in London. Formed in 1985, the company quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality turntables, amplifiers, and other audio components. Roksan's first and most iconic product, the Xerxes turntable, was launched the same year the company was founded. The Xerxes was notable for its innovative design, which aimed to eliminate the acoustic and mechanical flaws associated with traditional turntable designs. The result was a turntable design that set a new standard in the hi-fi industry and established Roksan as a serious player in the high-end audio market.

Over the years, Roksan expanded its product range to include CD players, amplifiers, and speakers, maintaining a focus on delivering high-fidelity sound with precision engineering. The brand is known for blending modern technology with traditional craftsmanship, often incorporating unique design elements into its products.

Roksan Heritage

In 2016, Roksan was acquired by Monitor Audio, another prominent British audio company. This acquisition allowed Roksan to leverage Monitor Audio's resources while continuing to innovate and produce high-quality audio equipment.

Today, Roksan is embracing the future by focusing on the needs of the connected consumer. As the audio landscape evolves, Roksan is integrating modern technologies to cater to a new generation of listeners who value both high-quality sound and seamless connectivity. This includes the development of products that support streaming services, multi-room audio setups, and smart home integration, ensuring that Roksan's offerings are compatible with the latest platforms and devices.

Today, almost 40-years on from its founding, and the enduring legacy of its pioneering products like the Xerxes turntable, the brand continues to blend its classic design principles with cutting-edge technology, from the Monitor Audio Group headquarters in Rayleigh, Essex, UK, ensuring that it remains a leader in the high-end audio market and well-positioned to create innovative products that meet the demands of today's tech-savvy consumers while preserving the brand's commitment to audio excellence.
