Commenting on the visual, reviewer James Michael Hughes says the Attessa "is compact and sleek-looking" and built-in MM phono stage "proved excellent".

With the blak CD Player, James commented that it is "unashamedly an old-school silver disc spinner – albeit a very good one".

In summary, alongside the Monitor Audio Silver 50 7G speakers, James said "this proved a great system with a sound that punches way above its price point. It's a little quirky, but highly capable."
