American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey follows up on her 2021 double release with Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. Stating that she wanted her latest record to have “a spiritual element”, Del Rey’s latest offering is complex, unsettling and profound. Under-appreciated as a writer, her latest entry is slightly obscure, with some fairly lengthy tracks, yet this ninth studio album is possibly her most important one yet.

Founded by young Portuguese musician Indigo Dias, Dispirited Spirits path is clear on their second studio album. This space-themed psychedelic music project from Indigo is profoundly inspired by astronomy and the universe. With dynamic and fluid compositions, The Redshift Blues is an amazing record, with breathtaking instrumentals throughout.

From Nothing To A Little Bit More

The Lathums | Island

English indie four-piece band The Lathums present From Nothing To A Little Bit More, their second studio album. 18 months after their debut release, the talented rockers from Wigan return with a more mature sound, with just a few minor tweaks. Frontman Alex Moore stated “We wanted to show that we’re progressing and trying new things and that we won’t ever get comfortable in a certain place.” Action-packed from start to finish, its a fine second offering.

With her distinct 90s, old-school energy, British singer songwriter Nia Archives introduces her third studio album. Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall is influenced by a wide mixture of genres, across its six track collection. Each track provides a different mood, for recent chapters in her life. Although short, it’s certainly quality over quantity, with Nia providing us with her most exciting project yet.

One of his best albums to date, Brothers & Sisters is the uplifting fifth studio album from Scottish singer songwriter Steve Mason. Mason has consistently delivered and on his latest record, he effortlessly fuses sounds from Eastern funk to Afro-rhythms. Inventive, insightful and honest, Mason’s latest record is full of flair and energy, which provides for an incredibly joyous listen.
