Intense, astounding and full of spirit, But Here We Are is a poignant tribute and a masterpiece.

Portugal. the Man | Atlantic Records
Chris Black Changed My Life is the ninth studio album from American rock band Portugal. The Man. Although its been six years since Woodstock, the band clearly haven’t slowed down and their latest record is full of warm, catchy, sun-soaked songs. Although this doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it’s a solid entry to their already impressive catalogue. Dedicated to the band's longtime friend and the album's namesake Chris Black - it’s a fitting tribute.

American emo-rock band Home Is Where return for their second studio album The Whaler. Some fascinating and poetic songwriting from frontwoman Brandon MacDonald,who brings all of her energy. With folk-tinged punk, its sorrowful and honest themes will leave you a little unsteady and as floral organs come to a close, you’ll likely come away with an array of emotions. The Whaler is an intelligent second entry that will leave fans wanting more.

Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!? is the fourth studio album from Virginian musician McKinley Dixon. This latest entry has a hip-hop, jazz-funk vibe, wonderfully balanced and refreshing, and despite being short in length, it’s certainly quality over quantity. Using a live studio band throughout the record, McKinley’s unique sound coupled with his layered lyricism is spectacular. A real journey into the psyche of McKinley Dixon, its a pivotal step in his career.

Now working as a solo artist, singer-songwriter Alicia Bognanno introduces Lucky for You, the bands fourth studio album. The indie rocker from Nashville reveals her journey with sobriety and touches on political themes, alongside her condemnation of abortion rights, global warming and gun control. Bognanno is passionate and full of venom, but there is a real maturity to her sound. This is Bognanno’s most dynamic record and her finest work to date.
