The band have had a significant impact on death metal over the past 30 years, but have leaned towards a progressive rock sound on their latest offering. Now settled with their new style, fans will be pleased that Sky Void of Stars has so much energy and wisdom. Its clear that Katatonia still have plenty to offer.
